I have always viewed the devices – be they texts, reenactments of historic performances or received styles and gestures – as a means to animate different qualities in each performer according to their individual biographies. " When I work on a project I wanna know what the performers go through and how I can bring out raw emotion. I want to capture heightened emotion and express it in a beautiful manner for my audience.
