Check out the link on Chad Person's blog. The Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms, and Explosives confiscated Person's "Improvised Shotgun: White" from The Mark Moore Gallery in Santa Monica. They asked for the locations of recently shipped works... that would be our exhibition...
These are pieces of conceptual art, meant to engage the viewer and question the status quo. Their seizure only creates more questions about our priorities as a society.
The works were still on the wall at Davis when the gallery closed this afternoon.
